The UC Irvine Environment Institute provides a public forum for educational opportunities that promote an increased understanding of the interactions between environment and society.  Research seminars and lectures presented by visiting scholars, faculty recruits, and other Institute affiliates provide the opportunity for experts in global change, energy, sustainability, and other related areas to discuss their research within the context of larger environmental challenges that are at the interface of science, technological innovation, and society.
